We Adopted the Red List !!

Soluna Beauty is dedicated to developing toxin free clean beauty that works harmoniously with our skin by using the most potent natural ingredients the earth has to offer

We have partnered with the BCPP (Breast Cancer Prevention Partners) on the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics by adopting the Red List as our restricted substance guide.

The Red List includes 102 cosmetic chemical ingredients. Of these:

44 are carcinogens listed by the International Agency for Research on Cancer, the U.S. National Toxicology Program Report on Carcinogens, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and/or the California Proposition 65 list.

13 have evidence linking them specifically to mammary tumors in rodents, an indicator of possible breast cancer risk.

41 have contamination concerns for carcinogens such as formaldehyde, ethylene oxide, 1,4-dioxane, nitrosamines, arsenic, PFOA and acrylamide.

22 are especially prevalent in products marketed to women of color

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics coalition, a project of Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (formerly the Breast Cancer Fund), works to protect the health of consumers, workers and the environment through public education and engagement, corporate accountability and sustainability campaigns and legislative advocacy designed to eliminate dangerous chemicals linked to adverse health impacts from cosmetics and personal care products.
